Micah has served for approximately 10 years as a Port Canaveral Commissioner. His work at the Port has involved financial policy, economic development, infrastructure, regional growth, commercial fishing, recreation access and protecting community interests.
County commissioners regularly make decisions involving major budgets, public infrastructure, long-term planning and competing community needs. Micah already understands how to evaluate complex projects, ask difficult questions and make decisions within a public governing body.

Micah has been a State Certified General Contractor since 2002 and has operated Loyd Contracting as a Titusville business owner since 2014. His professional experience includes budgets, timelines, permitting, planning, employees, job creation and completing projects within real-world constraints.

The deadline to request that a vote-by-mail ballot be sent for the primary is Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
Voters returning completed mail ballots may use authorized secure ballot intake stations during early voting hours. Brevard County also permits completed mail ballots to be returned at its early voting locations or administrative offices during authorized periods.
